Hey, Sunkiss here! I'm one of Mama Janice's pups—definitely not from the "J" litter since I'm almost a year old now.
Sadly, my story is all too common. Too many people continue to breed dogs without giving a second thought to where the puppies will end up. Every puppy deserves to be born with the promise of a loving, forever home, not left to chance. Thankfully, Animatch stepped in before that became my future.
At almost a year old, I'm ready to start the life I've been waiting for. Whoever adopts me will have a little catching up to do, but don't worry—I'm a smart Lab who loves to learn and wants nothing more than to make my people proud. Let's tackle some training and socialization together. I want to discover all the things dogs dream about: car rides, walks on the beach, games of fetch, hiking adventures, and all the fun that Labs are famous for.
More than anything, though, I want just one family for the rest of my days. A family who will love me through every stage of life—from my bouncy adolescent days to the time when my muzzle turns white and my pace slows. Bringing a dog home is a commitment that can last 12 to 15 years, and it's one that should never be taken lightly. Dogs don't understand why they're left behind—they only know they've lost the people they loved.
If you're an active family looking for a loyal companion and you're willing to invest a little time helping me become the dog I was always meant to be, I think we'd make a wonderful team.
