About Dallas

Dallas is my name, and I am a proud Rottweiler girl. Did you know that Rottweilers are considered one of the smartest dog breeds? Give me a chance and I’ll show you just how quickly I learn. Give me a job to do and I’ll be happy to oblige! I may have a tough-girl look, but underneath it all I am a sweet and gentle miss who can also show you my delightfully clownish side.

I can easily match your energy for long walks, hikes and outdoor adventures, but I also have a very important off switch. After a busy day, I am quite happy to settle down and relax. And while I may look like I could be guarding the castle, I am actually a softie. I can be a little nervous when meeting new people, so I simply need some time to feel comfortable. Quite frankly, no dog should ever be rushed into quick introductions.

One of the perks of being a Rottweiler? My short coat is wonderfully easy-care. A good brushing now and then and I am good to go!

Animatch is looking for a family who understands Rottweilers — or has taken the time to do their homework and understands what life with this breed is all about. I am not looking for just any home; I am looking for the right home. I would benefit from more socialization and would do best with people who have the time and desire to continue helping me build confidence. Being left alone all day would be, quite frankly, incredibly boring!

Training classes would be right up my alley. They would give me an opportunity to put my brains to work, strengthen our bond and, as an added bonus, give me more positive experiences with new people and situations.
