Hi, I’m Roxy — a spunky little Morkie with a heart full of love and a tail that just won’t quit wagging! I’ve known what it’s like to be part of a family, and now that I’m coming out of my shell again, I’m so ready to get back to that life. I can’t wait to hang up my leash in a cozy new home where I truly belong.

I’ll be honest — I’m not a fan of being alone for long stretches. When my previous human had to return to work full time, it was tough on me. I sometimes get vocal (howling and barking are my go-to moves) and might have the occasional indoor accident if I’m feeling anxious. So apartment or condo life? Probably not the best fit. What I really need is someone who’s home a lot. And when you do need to go out, I feel much safer in a crate than left to roam.

I really enjoy the company of other dogs — a canine buddy would make my tail wag even faster! I haven’t lived with kids before, but a home with adults or respectful older children (12+) would suit me just fine.

Walks? Yes, please! I love strolling around the neighborhood and I’m always up for a game of fetch. I may be 7, but don’t let the number fool you — I’ve got plenty of pep in my step and a playful spark.
