About Dusk

Dusk is my name, and I arrived at Animatch with my sister, Dawn. Since I only speak dog, I can’t tell you much about my past, but let’s just say it’s been a little sketchy. Word has it that I came from a place with far too many dogs, and thanks to a bit of luck, I’ve landed somewhere that’s giving me a fresh start!

I’m supposedly a Miniature Pinscher mix, and despite all the recent upheaval, I’ve learned to trust the people who have helped me along the way. They’ve been kind, and I know they want the very best for Dawn and me.

At seven years old, I’d do best with an adult family or one with older, respectful children. It would be lovely if Dawn and I could find a home together, but we understand that two siblings don’t necessarily have to stick together forever. We’re ready to go our separate ways if that’s what’s best for each of us. I get along with other dogs, too, and would welcome a canine pal to show me the ropes.

Now, since my past is a bit of a mystery and my life has been turned upside down lately, I may need a refresher course in toilet training. A little patience, consistency and encouragement should help me get back on track. After all, I’ve had quite a lot to adjust to!

The good news? I’m discovering that walks and neighbourhood adventures are wonderful! There are so many interesting smells to investigate and, of course, a few pee-mails to send along the way. I can’t wait to explore my new surroundings with someone of my very own.
