Tina is a three-year-old Border Collie whose world was turned upside down when her human moved and was unable to take her along. Bummer. But Tina is a resilient girl, and she’s ready to put that chapter behind her and become part of another family — this time, forever.

Being a Border Collie means Tina is definitely not a couch potato. She has energy to burn and would love a human who enjoys walking, hiking, exploring, and generally getting out and about. After a busy day of activity, she may be perfectly happy to curl up beside you — but first, she needs to earn that couch time!

And it’s not just physical exercise that Tina needs. Border Collies are smart cookies, and Tina will also need plenty of mental stimulation. Training would be a great place to start and an excellent way to build a bond with her before moving on to organized activities. If you’re already a dog-sport enthusiast, even better — Tina would be thrilled to be your right-hand girl and put her brain and energy to work.

Tina gets along with other dogs following a proper introduction. She has not lived with children, so older, respectful children who already understand life with a dog would be the best fit for her.
