About Louis

Louis here – although some of my close pals call me Lulu. I’m sticking with Louis; it has a certain ring to it! I recently made the long trip from Kuujjuarapik, not because I was unwanted, but because my guardian became ill and could no longer care for me. Sometimes life doesn’t go according to plan, and now I’m ready for a fresh start.

If an underbite makes you smile, we’re already off to a good start! I’m a charming guy who is full of energy and always ready for a long walk, an adventure or a little fun. I’m also very comfortable with the whole human-cuddle-and-belly-rub routine. In fact, I could get used to having that as part of my daily schedule!

I enjoy the company of other dogs but would be perfectly happy being your one and only. I do like to express myself, though, so an apartment or condo probably isn’t the best fit. A fenced yard would be fantastic – somewhere I can stretch my legs, investigate the neighbourhood and keep a close eye on those pesky squirrels.

Now, about that forever-home business. I’m not looking for a temporary gig or a family who will love me until life gets complicated. I’ve already had a big change, and this time I’m looking for the real deal – a family ready to make me part of their lives for good.
