Cupcake here! Before you fall in love with my adorable face, please read my bio in its entirety before filling out an application. I’m cute, but I come with a few important details!
I arrived at Animatch with a bilateral inguinal hernia that may require surgery. Animatch is monitoring the situation, and if surgery becomes necessary, it will be taken care of. For this reason, it would be best if my adopters lived in the area, just in case I need some extra medical attention.
While things are being monitored, I’m living with an awesome Foster Mom. My furry housemates include an older gentleman (a dog) who tolerates my antics, a few cats who consider me a pesky little creature, and a newborn pup who hasn’t figured out what to make of me yet. As for my Foster Mom, she describes me as a feisty little girl with plenty of spunk and attitude. A wallflower? Not a chance! I’m also teething, which means human hands can look suspiciously like chew toys. For that reason, a home with older children would be best. A playful canine buddy with a bit of spunk of their own would be a bonus, provided we’re a good match.
I’m looking for a family that enjoys walks, hikes, and daily adventures. Of course, every growing puppy needs an appropriate supply of Kongs, Nylabones, and squeaky toys. A few liver treats wouldn’t hurt either — especially when you’re teaching me something new! Puppy classes would be right up my alley, too. I want to learn my manners, build confidence, and grow into the best canine citizen I can be.
Now for the important part: puppies are a full-time commitment, not a part-time hobby. I need a family who will be home a good part of the day to provide socialization, exercise, training, patience, and frequent potty breaks. I’m counting on you to help me grow into a happy, well-adjusted adult dog, and that takes time and dedication.
