Take a seat, folks … you’re about to hear another sad story that just might have a tail-wagging, happily-ever-after ending!
Trackit here, a proud Beagle boy who found himself at Animal Control. When my family was located, they decided they didn’t want me back. Well, that was a tough one to sniff out! Fortunately, my friends at Animatch are convinced that my story is about to take a turn for the better. Somewhere out there is a Beagle-loving family who will welcome me into their lives and, most importantly, keep me forever. Could that be you?
Before you apply, there are a few things you should know about us Beagles. We are basically a nose with four legs attached! If I catch an interesting scent, my nose takes over, my ears may stop working, and suddenly I have a very important investigation to conduct. That’s why a securely fenced yard is a must. You don’t want me following my nose all the way to the next postal code!
I’m an active boy who needs to exercise both my body and my brain (not to mention that famous nose) every day. Long walks, outdoor adventures, and plenty of sniffing opportunities are essential. A quick trip around the block with no time to investigate simply won’t cut it. I have neighbourhood news to catch up on, after all!
And don’t believe anyone who tells you Beagles can’t be trained. We’re smart cookies! With patience, consistency, and a few tasty rewards, I’m ready to show you what I can do. We could even explore nose-work activities or other dog sports. Just remember, if there’s a scent involved, you’ll have my undivided attention. Probably!
I enjoy the company of other dogs, but I’m not keen on sharing my food or toys. Apparently, I missed the memo about communal dining! For that reason, I’d be happiest as your one and only dog, where I won’t have to worry about anyone eyeing my dinner or borrowing my favourite things. Besides, I have enough Beagle personality to fill a household all by myself!
So, calling all Beagle enthusiasts! If you appreciate a clever, curious, active companion with a nose for adventure and a whole lot of love to give, I’m ready to pack my bags. My first family may have passed on me, but I’m counting on my next family to recognize that I’m a keeper.
Fill in the Application Form and tell me all about yourself. I’ll bring the nose, the personality, and the happy tail wags. You bring the forever home. Deal?
