About Fuji

Fuji is my name, and I was named after one of Japan’s most famous landmarks — Mount Fuji. As it turns out, raising a puppy (me!) and climbing Mount Fuji have a lot in common. Both require patience, determination, and a good sense of humour.

Raising a puppy is a lot like climbing a mountain. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. You have to pace yourself through the early days of sleepless nights, house-training mishaps, and those moments when you wonder if peace and quiet will ever return.

And just as Mount Fuji is known for its rapidly changing conditions, life with a puppy can be a little unpredictable too. One minute everything is calm, and the next you're dealing with explosive diarrhea, discovering your favourite shoe has become a chew toy, or wondering why I suddenly seem to have forgotten everything you taught me yesterday.

But every climb has its reward.

Reaching the summit of Mount Fuji is an unforgettable accomplishment. Watching this Fuji grow from a mischievous puppy into a well-mannered, loving, lifelong companion is just as rewarding. With guidance, training, and plenty of love, I will become the kind of dog who makes every challenge worthwhile.
