About Koda

Koda has been promised a family, and we hope that promise comes true very soon. After spending the past few years raising puppies, this beautiful Boxer has finally been granted early retirement. No more puppies for Koda — her time has come. She is ready to take her first steps toward becoming what she has never had the chance to be: someone's beloved family dog.

Koda is looking for a special person with patience, consistency, and realistic expectations. What she lacks in life experience, she more than makes up for in sweetness. She absolutely adores human attention and finds comfort in the sound of a kind voice.

Many of the things most dogs take for granted are completely new to Koda. Walking on a leash is unfamiliar territory, but with gentle encouragement, she is learning that the world isn't such a scary place. Every small step forward is a victory, and helping her discover life's simple pleasures is incredibly rewarding. While she may never become your jogging partner, she is ready to enjoy leisurely walks, companionship, and all the love she has missed out on.

Koda may benefit from having a patient, well-adjusted canine companion to show her the ropes. She will likely need some help with house training, but with consistency and understanding, she will continue to make progress.
