And here she is …… Cutie Patootie! Just over five years old and still a whole lot of puppy energy in her. She is a recent arrival from Hawaii and here is what her rescuers at Action 4 Animals had to say about her.

Meet Cutie-Patootie, a 51-lb bundle of sweetness who’s ready to charm her way straight into your heart. Everything about her feels easy and joyful. On walks she’s the kind of dog everyone wishes they had – steady pace, no pulling, no zig-zagging – just a calm, happy companion trotting right by your side. She takes in the world with curiosity but never forgets to check back with her person.

She is also a social butterfly. Her play style is gentle, respectful, and friendly making her a great match for another dog who likes a buddy and knows how to read the room. Whether it’s a little romp or a quiet sniff, she will go with the flow

Her only dislike – kennels/cages are not her vibe. When it’s time to go in, she’ll pause, look up at you with those soulful eyes and hope and hope that you realize that staying out is a better plan. She may need a treat and some gentle encouragement -- not because she’s stubborn but simply because she loves being with her people so much, it’s hard to say goodbye.
