Sketchers here … yes, another member of the famous “Sneaker Litter.” There are five of us in total and we are just about ready to pack our bags, say goodbye to puppyhood with our siblings, and head off to our forever homes. Personally, I can hardly wait. Hope you’ve been getting plenty of sleep because life is about to get a whole lot busier — and a lot more fun!

First things first: prepare yourself for a puppy shopping spree. I’m talking sturdy chew toys, tennis balls, frisbees, squeaky toys, and probably a few “indestructible” toys that I will proudly prove are, in fact, destructible. Puppy-proofing your house is also highly recommended until I fully understand the difference between my toys and your television remote … or your shoes … or the corner of the coffee table.

Now let’s discuss my activity schedule. Walks? Absolutely. Hiking adventures? Count me in. Backyard zoomies? Essential. Sniffing every blade of grass in the neighbourhood? Also important. A busy puppy is a happy puppy — and a tired puppy is even better!

I’m looking for a family that is home a good part of the day because I still need help catching up on important puppy business like socialization, potty training, and learning all the skills required to become a stellar canine citizen. Another bonus? With Border Collie in the mix, I’m a smart cookie and eager to learn. Sign me up for training classes and watch me show off my brains while we bond along the way.

Of course, before you rush to fill out an Application Form, Animatch has one very important requirement: commitment. Puppies are adorable, but we also grow up. I’m looking for a family that will stick by me for the next 12–15 years through puppy chaos, adolescent shenanigans, and all the wonderful years after that. So, what do you think?
