Poppy here… and this is my sister, Heidi. We’ve just arrived at Animatch, carrying a lifetime of memories—and a quiet hope that there’s still one more chapter waiting for us. We’re not young anymore, that’s true. The zoomies have softened into gentle strolls, and our greatest joys now are the simple ones: a slow walk by your side, a warm spot to rest, a soft hand on our bellies, and the comfort of being close. Love, to us, has never meant more.

Our world changed when our beloved human passed away. In her final days, her greatest worry wasn’t for herself—it was for us. She wanted to know that we would be safe, together, and loved again. That promise matters.

Heidi and I have spent our whole lives side by side. We are each other’s constant. My eyes aren’t what they once were, so I follow her lead, trusting her as I always have. I do need a little help—just some daily eye drops to keep me comfortable. I’m very good about it, I promise.

We know we don’t have forever. But maybe… just maybe… we have enough time to fill a home with quiet companionship, to share gentle mornings and peaceful evenings, to remind someone that love doesn’t have an age limit.
