Why am I here, you ask? I mean… have you seen this face? These eyes? This gorgeous copper coat? Your guess is as good as mine. M y family cared about me, but they underestimated just how much time and energy a young guy like me needs. They made sure I landed somewhere safe, and now I’m ready to find a forever home that’s truly the right fit.
I’ve just turned one, which puts me squarely in the “fun but full-on” adolescent stage. I’ve got enthusiasm to spare and, yes, I’ll need some training to channel it in the right direction. I can be a bit unsure when meeting new people -- just give me a moment (and maybe don’t hover over me), and we’ll be fast friends. If you adopt me, training isn’t optional -- it’s part of the deal. Sign us up early, stay consistent, and I’ll learn that walks aren’t drag races and that humans are not launch pads. With guidance, I’ve got all the makings of a well-mannered canine citizen.
Couch potatoes, this is your cue to keep scrolling. I’m a mix of Golden Retriever and Poodle -- two smart, active breeds -- so I need daily exercise, mental stimulation, and a bit of adventure. Think long walks, hikes, games of fetch, maybe even agility if that’s on your bucket list. I’ve got the drive; I just need a partner who’s equally committed. We’ve got a lot of catching up to do!
Being a Goldendoodle also means regular grooming appointments and brushing at home to keep me looking (and feeling) my best. It’s part of the package, so be sure to factor that into your routine and budget.
And finally—the big one—bringing me home is a 12- to 15-year commitment. That’s a long time, and I’m worth every bit of it, but it’s important to think it through. If you’re ready for the time, energy, training, and love I need, then I’m ready to meet you. Think you’ve got what it takes? Fill out that application, and let’s get this party started.
Note: Stay tuned -- official photo shoot to come.
