My name is Tiger, and I am one proud, brindle, one-of-a-kind boy! My striking coat is sure to attract plenty of compliments as we strut our stuff on daily walks and adventures. But remember, folks, a handsome coat is just the wrapping! My personality will be shaped by proper socialization, training, and the environment I grow up in – not the colour of my fur.
Before arriving at Animatch, I was transferred from Animal Control after finding myself in a home with simply too many dogs. Sadly, situations like mine are a reminder of why spaying and neutering our dogs (and cats!) is so important. Every animal deserves the chance to grow up in a home where they can receive the love, care, and commitment they need for life.
As for my family tree, the best guess is that I have some Mastiff in my mix. Whatever my ancestry, one thing is certain: I am a large adolescent with plenty of growing, learning, and discovering ahead of me! I would benefit from a family with some experience raising large, adolescent dogs who understands that becoming a well-mannered adult takes time, patience, and consistency.
Socialization is key, so I need plenty of opportunities to explore the world – long walks, exciting adventures, car rides, and puppy training classes. All part of the plan to help me become the wonderful companion I am meant to be. A calm, well-balanced canine buddy who can show me the ropes would be a bonus, too. And naturally, a shopping trip for sturdy toys and tasty training treats would be most welcome. A guy has to have the proper equipment for his education!
I am also looking for a family who isn't away for the entire day. Puppies and long hours home alone are not an ideal combination, especially when there is so much to learn and so much growing up to do.
