About Fundora

Medical Update – Fundora

Fundora has recently been diagnosed with a Grade 4/6 heart murmur with a faint gallop rhythm. While this is certainly not the news we had hoped for, the important thing to know is that Fundora has shown no clinical signs of heart disease since arriving at Animatch. She remains happy, active, and full of the affectionate Boxer personality everyone has come to love.

Anyone considering adopting Fundora is welcome to pursue a cardiac ultrasound with a veterinary cardiologist at their own expense if they wish to learn more about her condition. At this time, there is no way to predict whether the murmur will ever progress to cause symptoms. Some dogs go on to live long, comfortable lives without their heart condition ever affecting their quality of life.

As with all medical conditions, we believe in being completely transparent so adopters can make an informed decision. A heart murmur does not define Fundora, nor does it diminish the wonderful companion she is.

She is still the same sweet, loving Boxer looking for what she has always wanted—a family to call her own.

*****************************************************************************************

Fundora is my name, and I am a gorgeous one-year-old brindle Boxer girl who recently arrived at Animatch with several of my Boxer pals. I’m not quite sure why I was given up by a commercial breeding facility at such a young age, but I suppose people looking to buy puppies want the full puppy experience. Thankfully, those days are behind me, and Animatch has promised to find me a family that will love and cherish me for the rest of my life.

While I may be a year old, I’m really a puppy in an adolescent body. I’ve missed out on many of the experiences, training, and guidance that young dogs normally receive, so I’m ready to start learning. First on my agenda? Training classes! We Boxer girls are smart, eager to please, and especially motivated when a tasty liver treat is involved. I may need a little help with house training at first, but with patience, consistency, and encouragement, I’ll catch on quickly.

Like most young Boxers, I am strong, energetic, and full of enthusiasm. I’m looking for a family that understands large-breed dogs and is prepared to continue my training so I can grow into a well-mannered companion. I get along well with other dogs, but they should be tolerant and willing to give me some time to learn the social skills I may have missed along the way.

If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who will fill your days with laughter, adventures, and plenty of Boxer antics, I could be your girl. I’m ready to begin my new life and make up for lost time. Just fill out an application and ask for FUNDORA!
