Thanks to Humane World for Animals who brought my sister (Apple) and I to safety, I hope to soon get started on this thing called family life!

I’m a lively and enthusiastic girl just entering adolescence who is always ready for some fun and adventure. My favorite pastime is running around like a free spirit. My special talent is making new friends and getting along with everyone I meet. I’d be a good dog for sturdy kids over 8 who understand my rough and tumble style. Another dog who has the patience to tolerate my youthful goofiness would be splendid. At first, I may appear shy, but give me a minute and you will see the real Ava emerge.

I need an active, engaging environment with a family prepared to invest time in training and helping me refine my manners. I have the potential -- with your help – to become a good canine citizen. Sign us up for classes and I promise to make you proud.
