About Bumble Bee

Bumble Bee is a winner! She is, without a doubt, one of the shyest dogs Animatch has ever welcomed. Progress with Bumble Bee comes in small steps—sometimes two forward, one back—but every breakthrough feels like a victory.

Like Flint and the other poodles recently adopted, Bumble Bee came to Animatch through Humane World for Animals Canada after a seizure involving dogs living in heartbreaking, unsanitary conditions. The neglect these dogs endured is difficult to imagine, and healing takes time. Bumble Bee still carries the emotional scars of her past, but she has already come so far. Little by little, she is learning that people can be kind and that trust is possible.

Bumble Bee is looking for a patient, understanding family who will let her progress at her own pace, celebrating the small victories and never expecting too much too soon. Every dog heals differently, and she deserves the time she needs.

A calm, confident canine companion would likely help her continue to blossom. She would also do best with respectful children over the age of 8 who have experience living with dogs.
