Hi, I’m Carlie — a Collie girl with a heart full of love and plenty of life left to share.

I’m not here to tell you a sad story of neglect or hardship, because truth be told, I’ve had a wonderful life. I was adopted from Animatch as a youngster and spent many happy years in a home where I was truly loved. Life took an unexpected turn for my human, and they could no longer care for me — so Animatch, true to their promise, welcomed me back with open arms. Once an Animatch dog, always an Animatch dog.

At first, the change was tough. My world turned upside down and I felt unsettled, but with time, kindness, and patience, my trust is shining through again. I know now that everything is going to be okay.

I’m 10 years old, but let’s get one thing straight — I don’t act it. I still enjoy my walks (gotta keep these hips moving!) and I take my daily Flexadin to keep me spry. Senior doesn’t mean “sit around all day” — it means enjoying life at a steady, comfortable pace with plenty of cuddles in between.

I get along well with other dogs (as long as they aren’t too hyper) and I can live peacefully with cats. Young children might be a little too much for me, but respectful older kids would be just fine.

Yes, adopting a senior dog like me means our time together may be shorter — but that makes every moment even more meaningful. I’ve got so much love, loyalty, and wisdom to give, and I’m ready to make every day count with the right family.
