*UPDATE - July 27:
Scarlett here – still here – since September 16, 2024. That’s right, folks, we’re coming up on the one-year mark and frankly, I’ve had it up to my floppy ears. What gives? Am I too beautiful? Too charming? Too much of a catch?
Listen, the volunteers at Animatch are doing their best. I get agility time, long walks, even some quality hangouts in the office. They’re keeping me entertained – bless their hearts – but let’s be real: this gal needs a home. A couch. A human. Preferably one who knows how to dole out snacks and belly rubs on command.
Yes, I’d prefer to be your one and only – I mean, can you blame me? I’ve got enough love in this muscular Boxer bod to make up for an entire pack. Just think: no squabbles over toys, no food bowl politics, just me loving you like nobody’s business.
Oh, and the daily pill? It’s not a big deal. Just skip a Tim Hortons every morning and boom – pill budget covered.
Please, don’t let me celebrate my anniversary here. I’d rather be celebrating my gotcha day with you. Time flies, and I’ve been waiting long enough. So, go ahead… fill out that application. Let’s make this happen.
Puh-leeze!
*******************************************************************************
Scarlett is a big, goofy, soft butterball. Her favorite pastimes have become going for walks, cuddling, playing ball, snuggling, spending quality time with her human, and it can all be topped off with a good belly rub.
Scarlett is so ready to take the next step into her first real home. Yes, at 7 years old she is on the verge of experiencing what a home with a soft bed, good food, and human attention is all about. It won’t be a difficult transition for Scarlett because she simply adores human attention.
Scarlett would shine as your one and only dog. Her over-the-top greetings with other dogs are not always welcome and have led to a few spats. Insofar as cats are concerned, her prey drive kicks in and it’s off to the races. A feline-free home is a must.
Scarlett will require medication for the rest of her life. Without it she experiences some incontinence when she is sleeping or relaxed. The medication is preventing this.
With Scarlett what you see is what you get – a sweet, bouncy, dog who is looking for a human with whom she can share her best years. Do you want to be the one who gets to spend each and every day with this fun-loving girl? Please fill in the Application Form if you think adopting Scarlett is a good idea.
