Hey, it’s me – Clive.

I’ll be honest with you right from the start: adopting me is a choice, and it’s a big one. Puppies like me are adorable, but we’re also a lot of work.

If you bring me home, some things in your life will change. Forget all-night parties or spur-of-the-moment getaways (unless I can tag along!). I’ll be waiting for you – for my meals, my walks, and of course, my belly rubs. Your wallet may be a little lighter, your clothes might be sprinkled with dog hair, and yes… I might chew a shoe or two. Until I’m trained, there may even be a few “accidents” in the house. But hey, things can be replaced, floors can be cleaned, and clothes can be washed.

There will be cold, rainy nights when you’d rather curl up on the couch. That’s when I’ll nudge you with my wet nose or drop a tennis ball in your lap, insisting that we play just one more round. Puppies need time, patience, and love – and I’ll need all of that from you.

One day, the puppy energy will fade. My muzzle will turn grey, my eyes might grow cloudy, and my steps a little slower. I may not want to chase the ball for hours, but I’ll still want to be right by your side. Through every stage – puppy, adult, and senior – I’ll be your loyal companion.
