Tom here! I’m a proud, bouncy Goldendoodle who’s recently hit a bit of a rough patch. I had a loving home, but due to my guardian’s illness, they had to make the heartbreaking decision to find me a new family. Thankfully, Animatch welcomed me with open arms, and now I’m ready to start my next chapter.

As a mix of two energetic breeds — Golden Retriever and Standard Poodle — I’ve got plenty of pep in my step. I thrive on activity and would love a home where walks, hikes, and outdoor adventures are part of everyday life. Oh, and fetch? Let’s just say your arm will tire long before I do!

Now, I know I sound pretty amazing so far, but there are a few things we’ll need to work on together. First up: I tend to greet people with all four paws off the ground. I’m enthusiastic, what can I say? We’ll need to practice polite hellos. I could also use a refresher on leash manners, and while we’re at it, learning that “drop it” actually means I should release that sock I just swiped would be a good idea. (Yes, I’m a known sock thief — it’s part of my charm.) But with a little training and consistency, I’ll make you proud.

To keep me looking my handsome best, I’ll need regular professional grooming about every eight weeks, plus some brushing at home to keep me tangle-free. I promise I’m worth the effort.

I get along well with other dogs when introduced properly, but I’d be equally happy as your one and only. As for cats — not a good match. I haven’t lived with young kids before, so an adult home or one with respectful, older children would suit me best.
