Meet Linus!

If you’ve followed Animatch for a while, you know we take our “8+ for puppies” guideline seriously. Not because we don’t love kids—we do!—but because puppies and toddlers together can be a whirlwind of noise, excitement, and tiny humans running in every direction. Add a growing adolescent dog into the mix and sometimes things get a little… chaotic.

Linus is a perfect example. He was adopted as a puppy and adored by his family, but when the kids started roughhousing, he dove right into the fun. Unfortunately, what felt like playtime to him sometimes led to an accidental nip. No malice—just a big, goofy youngster getting revved up and not quite knowing when to hit the brakes.

So Linus is back, and he’s ready for his next chapter with a family who understands that enthusiastic dogs need guidance, patience, and plenty of outlets for their energy. He’d thrive in a home that can give him exercise, structure, and maybe even a fun training class or two to help him polish his manners and impulse control.
