Lyra here and I’m the gentle soul of the bunch, happy to play but equally content to soak up cuddles.

Well, the stars certainly aligned for this litter! Mom, appropriately named Star, arrived with a bit of a surprise — an “oops” litter of ten puppies. Each of us has been named after a star or constellation, and if we do say so ourselves, we all have rather celestial personalities. The good news is that we are safe at Animatch and now ready to find the loving homes we were always meant to have.

Before falling completely under our puppy charm, it’s important to remember that puppies are a lot of work. House training, socialization, exercise, and patience are all part of the daily routine. Bringing a puppy into your life also means making a commitment for the next 12–15 years — but the rewards are well worth the effort.

I would enjoy a tolerant canine sibling, a cat who doesn’t mind the occasional playful chase, and kids who understand that puppies sometimes jump and come equipped with very sharp baby teeth. Puppy classes followed by basic training will help us grow into well-mannered canine citizens, which is the very best gift you can give a young dog. A family who is home a good part of the day would be wonderful while I learn the ropes of being the best dog I can be.
