About Star

Star arrived at Animatch just a week or two before welcoming her ten puppies — her very own little constellation. This was her second litter in a short span of time, but thankfully, it will be her last. As part of bringing Star into safety, Dad was neutered, so no more “oops” litters in this story.

Through it all, Star has been an incredible mom. Patient, devoted, and endlessly nurturing, she has given her babies the very best start in life. Now, as her puppies prepare to head off to their own homes, it’s finally her turn to shine.

Star is a gentle, affectionate girl who is ready to be someone’s baby for a change. She would benefit from a little boost in confidence, and with time, love, and some positive training, she will truly blossom.

Although she has lived with other dogs, her recent motherhood has left her a bit sensitive, and she isn’t always comfortable sharing her space. For now, she would be happiest as the only dog in the home, where she can relax and feel secure.

While she’s been busy raising ten pups, Star hasn’t had much time for herself—but don’t forget, she’s a Lab at heart! She will enjoy daily walks, fresh air, and adventures with her people once she settles in.
