About Polar

Now, no one is quite sure what’s in my family tree, but here’s the scoop: I’m likely to grow into a big boy. Maybe even very big. Think “gentle giant” energy. Whatever my mix is, it’s surely packed with good traits—and probably a love of cold weather!

If you’re dreaming of beaches and heatwaves, I might not be your match. But if you’re all about winter adventures, long hikes, crisp air, and maybe even skijoring someday, we’re speaking the same language.

Like all puppies, I could use some polishing on my manners. Training will help me become the best version of myself—and you might even enjoy the refresher, too! One thing you should know: this magnificent coat of mine is thick, beautiful… and sheds. A lot. Regular brushing (preferably outside!) and a couple of professional blow-outs a year will keep me looking sharp and your floors a bit cleaner.

I adore other dogs and would love an older canine buddy to show me the ropes. A confident cat who doesn’t mind a playful chase could fit right in, too. As for kids, sturdy, dog-savvy older ones are more my speed—I’m sweet, but I can be a little clumsy.
