UPDATE - Sully is still waiting; he has been at Animatch since March 20th
Dear Future Family,
Sully here – a big-hearted, adolescent Mastiff-x with an even bigger wish: to find my forever home. I came to Animatch as one of those “unclaimed treasures,” already well on my way to being a lovable galoot. But now I’m competing with all these teeny 8-week-old pups... tough crowd!
At 10–11 months old, I’m still very much a puppy myself. The difference? What’s cute at 8 pounds isn’t always so adorable when you’re tipping the scales like I am. My first family may have had good intentions, but they learned the hard way that raising a pup takes time, patience, and a lot of love.
I’ll admit it — I’m still working on a few things, like not jumping on people and actually coming when called. What can I say? Training is definitely something I need (and would thrive with!). But please, don’t just say you’ll take me to class if you don’t mean it. Telling Animatch what they want to hear doesn’t help me — or any dog — in the long run.
If you pass me by for one of those “real” puppies, just make sure you know what you're getting into. Even the tiniest fluffball can grow into Dogzilla without the right guidance — mouthy, bouncy, and a little out of control.
But if you’ve made it this far and are still considering me, let me tell you this: with the right training, consistency, and exercise, I’ll be a rockstar. Adolescence doesn’t last forever, and if you put in the work, the bond we can build will be amazing. Truly.
My future depends on someone like you. With your support, the next 10–12 years can be the best adventure ever. Are you up for the challenge? I promise life with me will never be dull.
