Calling all Beagle lovers. My name is Rookie – some people refer to my breed as a nose with a dog attached. I’m a loving, happy-go-lucky fellow who was given up with another Beagle because my family was splitting up. I am hoping that my stay will be short but people are dumping pets at an alarming rate and adoptions are not going quickly. Fingers crossed that there are a lot of people whose dream dog is a Beagle.

I am sensitive, friendly, and happy go-lucky. I also have a passion for the smell of a common garbage can. For people who are already Beagle enthusiasts, you know that I need a fenced yard to prevent this nose from getting me into trouble. If you are a novice when it comes to my breed, you must educate yourself and do your research. We are an awesome breed but Animatch wants to ensure that they find dedicated Beagle lovers who understand us.

If you need to get out and meet more people, I will help you break the ice. Nothing I love more than a long walk where I can sniff to my heart’s content. Every walk is an adventure for me. You might want to consider doing some training and don’t let anyone tell you that we are stubborn – more like independent thinkers.
