Fine, I’ll admit it. My name is Mishmish and I have a touch of little-dog syndrome. It just takes me a minute, or a day, to get to trusting new people. I was only in my last home for two weeks and I was quite reactive when I was being manipulated. Once I get to know you, I’m really sweet; but before I am acquainted with someone I act like a bit of a tough guy.

Shhhh, don’t tell anyone, but I’m not a tough guy; in fact, you will not find a more proficient cuddler than me. Just give me a little time to get to know you. It made me sad to lose my home again – Animatch is not certain how many times I’ve been passed around. I do appreciate that my last family brought me to a safe place,.

Now one fact that you might not be happy about is that I must be the only dog in the home. For some reason, I do not like the company of other dogs. I will thrive in a home where I am your one and only. I have so much joie de vivre and spunk that I can keep you entertained all on my own.

With all the upsets in my life I will need a refresher in toilet training. I would be happiest with an active, adult family – put a leash on me and I’ll walk you all over the neighbourhood. Don’t think my size means that training is not necessary; I can use it as much – or even more – than some of the large dogs.
