Hi there! I’m Pruneau, an Aussiedoodle looking for a loving home. I may take some time to adjust when I move into a new environment, and because of that, I’m a bit of a flight risk for the first few days. But once I get to know you, I’ll be your loyal companion! I love people, but I need to meet them slowly and in a way that makes me feel safe.

I had to leave my previous home because a family member was facing serious illness. It was tough, and while I was always a good dog, I’ve always been a little fearful. That’s why I need an experienced guardian—someone who’s patient and encouraging, who’ll celebrate every little step forward with me. Once I get some training, I know I’ll feel more confident!

Since I’m a mix of two active breeds, I have tons of energy! I love chasing after balls, going for long walks, and hiking no matter the weather. After a day of adventure, I turn into a total snuggle bug. I’d probably do best as an only dog since other dogs can make me nervous.
