Hi, Apollo here! Yep, I’m still waiting for my forever family. I can’t help but wonder—why? What’s holding you back?

I’ve become the unofficial welcoming committee at Animatch, always the first to greet new arrivals and cheer on the lucky pooches who find their homes. But when is it my turn to say goodbye and head off to a new life?

Yes, I know I need a little guidance and support, but hey, don’t we all? Every dog here is a work in progress, and I promise, I’m worth the effort. I’ve got brains, loyalty, and a big heart just waiting to belong to someone. Animatch has given me the chance to find a family; now it’s up to you to take the leap.

My name is Apollo and at two years old, I’m looking for a new home. My family made the decision to rehome me and three other dogs because they simply could not care for us. I have already been a father to puppies at least once but those days are over. If I take a look around the Animatch Centre there are way too many puppies being born.

I am a proud Rottweiler mix. Did you know that Rottweilers are working dogs and we thrive when we have interesting things to do that occupy our mind. I’m looking for a person who will give me the guidance I require to continue my journey to being a well-balanced dog. I lacked some socialization in my previous life; although I’ll be up for every new adventure, eager to learn new things, and excited to make my person happy.

I can be a bit shy meeting new people, so I want a patient person committed to doing slow intros with new people. Within minutes and the proper greeting, my affectionate nature will emerge and voila someone has made a new friend. My human and I should immediately sign up for training. I have all the smarts to learn so much more and I am ready for you to teach me. A few tasty treats are the quickest way to win me over and within no time I’ll be showing off my new skills. Sweet, smart, and full of potential …. Yup, that’s me.
