Meet Tessa, a beautiful young German Shepherd with brains, energy, and a whole lot of personality. This charming pup is looking for an experienced, shepherd-savvy guardian who understands the breed and enjoys working with an intelligent, active dog.

Tessa gets along well with other dogs and puppies, provided everyone remembers their manners — especially around food. She is showing some resource guarding with her meals, including with people, so we’re seeking a family committed to starting training right away. The good news? Tessa is smart, eager to please, and very responsive. With consistency, patience, and guidance, she has all the tools to succeed.

An active lifestyle is a must for this girl. Tessa already enjoys walks and playtime with other dogs and would thrive with daily exercise, mental stimulation, and regular training. She’s definitely not a couch potato and has the potential to be a fantastic walking or hiking companion. A home where she isn’t left alone for long stretches of the day would be ideal, as she needs daily structure, socialization, and engagement.
