About Estelle

Estelle here. I am a 3½-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog with a big heart, a fluffy coat, and high hopes that home number three will be my last stop. I’ve had a bit of a winding road so far — my first year wasn’t great (let’s skip that chapter), and my second family loved me very much but discovered that life with a new baby leaves very little time for a big dog like me. No hard feelings… but I’m ready for my forever family now.

What I’m really looking for is commitment — the kind that says “you’re in this for life, Estelle.” In return, you get a loyal companion who gets along well with other dogs and would happily share her home with a canine sibling. With a little patience, I could probably learn to coexist with a cat too. As for kids, I’d do best with older, respectful ones who understand that big dogs have big feelings.

I love long walks (even if my leash manners could use a bit of polish), and I’m known to occasionally jump up when I’m excited — what can I say, I’m enthusiastic about people! A little training will have me shining in no time. And yes, maintaining this gorgeous Bernese coat does require weekly brushing, but trust me, I’m worth the effort.
