Meet Jesse — the little guy with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life!
This isn’t Jesse’s first time walking through Animatch’s doors, but he’s hoping it’ll be his last. His previous human could no longer keep him — tough break, but Jesse isn’t letting it dim his sparkle. He’s ready for his true forever family, the one he can adore for the rest of his days.

At 4.5 years old, this Yorkie mix is the perfect blend of fun-sized and full-throttle. Jesse LOVES being included in whatever his humans are doing: walks, car rides, family visits, backyard shenanigans — you name it and he’s all in. Don’t let his size fool you; this little dynamo is up for playtime, hikes, a good run, and yes… he’ll absolutely give a frisbee his best shot. Yorkies may be small, but their energy levels are mighty!

Jesse gets along great with the dogs in his playgroup and enjoys having buddies around. That said, he is a terrier through and through — meaning he takes his “alert system” job very seriously. He’s quick to announce visitors, squirrels, mysterious gusts of wind… you get the idea. Because of this, apartment or condo living isn’t the best fit for him.

What Jesse is truly looking for is someone ready to commit to him for life — patience, consistency, and a whole lot of love included. In return, he’ll be your loyal shadow, your adventure buddy, your snuggle partner, and your biggest fan.
