My name is Chance and I am currently taking application for a ball thrower. You must available 24/7, If you know Labs, you will understand that if I can’t eat it or retrieve it, I’m probably going to roll in it.

I am one of several Lab puppies who recently arrived at Animatch from Mistissini. Same old story – too many puppies being born and not enough committed homes. My siblings and I see that people here at Animatch are tired but they still give us a cuddle now and then. They hug us and tell us that our forever family is just around the corner.

Now first of all you have to be committed to the next 12 to 15 years. You must be confident that in 12-15 years from now you will still be physically capable of taking care of me. If you are planning on having children, don’t make me your pretend baby and then say you have no time for me when the real thing comes along. If you are planning on downsizing (moving to a condo), I must be part of the plan. In other words, it’s a lifetime commitment!

Let’s sign us up for puppy classes. I’ll show you just how smart and determined a Lab can be. I will need exercise every day and in all kinds of weather – I’m a hardy breed and enjoy the great outdoors. I wouldn’t mind an older canine sibling to guide me and a feline friend who doesn’t mind a pesky puppy would be fun too. Kids that are old enough to understand that puppies don’t come perfectly trained would be awesome.
