Hello, I’m Magnus, and I’m a recent arrival at Animatch from Mistassini, a northern community where there are more dogs than homes. My past is a bit of a mystery—at just three years old, no one knows where I've lived or how I've made it this far. I came to Animatch feeling confused, frightened, and in desperate need of grooming.

To be honest, grooming isn't my favorite thing, but I think that’s because I’ve never really experienced it until now. Being badly matted was uncomfortable, and I admit, I was a little reactive at first. But with patience (and maybe a tasty liver treat or two), I’m sure I’ll learn to enjoy it. A gentle, experienced groomer will be my best friend for now, and maybe, just maybe, you can help me get used to some light brushing at home once I’ve settled in.

Since my history is unknown, I’d do best in a calm, adult home or one with teenagers who can give me the time and space to adjust. I get along well with other dogs and would love to have a calm, confident canine companion to help show me the ropes.

I’m still learning what walks are all about, but I’ve discovered they’re pretty great! With a little practice, I’ll be strutting my stuff in no time. As for potty training, I’m still working on it, but I promise with patience and consistency, I’ll get the hang of it.

Once I feel comfortable in my new home, I’m eager to start training. I know I’ve got a lot of potential, and with the right guidance, I’ll prove just how smart I am!
