If you provide Shanty with a home, she will give you unconditional love in return. This spunky Lab-x mix has already come a long way in the short time that she has been at Animatch. Thanks to the continued efforts of HSI (Humane Society International), Shanty and another Lab were transferred from a breeding/hoarding situation in the area to Animatch by local authorities

Shanty has taken quickly to sleeping in a soft dog bed, chewing on a toy, enjoying her meals, and playing her favorite game, “you can’t catch me!”. She gets along with other dogs and being a quick learner, she is discovering that going outside to do your business makes everyone very happy. Shanty is progressing daily.

After she has settled in to her new home for a while, training would put the finishing touch on helping her to be the best dog that she can be. She has never been known to turn down a treat so that will make training quite a bit easier.

Shanty needs a consistent and patient family who will commit t her for the next 10 to 15 years. you must be ready to work with them through thick and thin – throwing in the towel is not an option.
