Polo here! I’m a three-year-old Pekingese mix who just landed at Animatch, and I’ve been told I’m what they call an “unclaimed treasure.” (Personally, I think that makes me sound like buried gold … and who wouldn’t want to adopt a treasure?) Whatever my past held, I’m ready to put it behind me and start fresh with a family who will love me for life.

Being part Pekingese, I come with a glorious coat that deserves a little TLC. A few brushings a week will keep me looking shiny and handsome—just promise me no shaving, okay? I’m worth the grooming effort!

I get along just fine with the dogs in my playgroup, so I’d be happy in a home with a canine buddy or as your one-and-only. Since Animatch doesn’t know my full backstory, respectful children 8 and up would be the best fit for me.

One of my favorite parts of the day? When the dog walkers arrive to take me out for a stroll—I just love it. The other dogs tell me that once I find my family, walks will happen every single day (imagine that!). They also let me in on a secret: apparently my new family will take me shopping for toys and liver treats. I hear they make excellent motivation for training classes, too.
