Hi there, I’m Fefille – and yes, I’m one-of-a-kind! My brother Ti-Gars and I recently arrived at Animatch from an overcrowded shelter. We’re two pups from an “oops” litter—adorable, yes, but growing fast and outgrowing our welcome. Just a gentle reminder: please spay and neuter your pets. It truly makes a difference.
Now, let me tell you a bit about myself. I’m what you might call a scaredy-cat dog. That’s right—I’m more of a cautious observer than a bold adventurer… at least for now. People often say, “Better a scaredy-cat than a bully!” and I guess there’s some truth to that, but shyness has its challenges too. Maybe I missed out on proper early socialization, or I was pushed too hard too soon, or perhaps I just had some rough handling in my past. Like humans, dogs can develop fears of all sorts of things—kids, vacuum cleaners, balloons, thunder, even shadows! It’s not a life-threatening issue, but it’s something I’ll need to work through—with you by my side.
That’s where you come in. With love, patience, and steady encouragement, you can help me build confidence. I’ll need time to settle into my new home, to get to know you, and to trust. Once I’m comfortable, we can take small steps together—walks around the block, meeting friendly dogs, car rides, and eventually, maybe even a training class or two. Just because I’m shy doesn’t mean I’m not smart. I’m a Collie–Bull Terrier mix—hello, brains and charm! And trust me, I’ll happily work for a liver treat.
If you have another dog in the home, that could be a great help to show me the ropes. I’d do best with older, respectful children who understand that I need space and time. I may be nervous, but I still need daily exercise and playtime to burn off my puppy energy.
So, are you ready to help a gentle, sweet girl blossom into her full potential? It’s a big commitment, but the reward—watching a shy pup transform into a confident companion—is truly heartwarming. Let’s start our journey together. Fill out the application form and don’t forget to ask for Fefille!
