Bambi

About Bambi

Meet Bambi – Small in size, big in heart.

When Bambi first arrived, he was scared, overwhelmed, and unsure of the world around him. The sudden change in his life left him feeling vulnerable, and like many dogs under stress, he let us know when he wasn’t comfortable. But with time and patience, Bambi has started to let his guard down and trust the people around him.

He now greets familiar faces with more confidence and continues to make progress every day. Slow introductions will always be important, but he’s learning that not all strangers are scary. Bambi came in with another dog but would be fine as an only pet or with a calm, laid-back canine companion. He can be a bit bossy with other dogs, so a good match matters.

As a Chihuahua, Bambi might need a refresher in toilet training—new routines and environments can throw even the best of us off! Despite his tiny size (under 5 lbs), he still needs regular walks and fresh air. A cozy coat and little boots will keep him comfy on chilly days.

At 8 years old, Bambi is looking for an adult home or one with respectful kids over 12. Younger children and grabby hands would likely be too much for this little guy.

If you're calm, patient, and ready for a loyal companion who just wants to feel safe and loved, Bambi could be the perfect match. Fill out the application form and take the first step toward giving him the home he deserves.
