I'm dreaming of a home where I’ll be given time to settle in, patience as I work through my shyness, and a lifetime of love—because I’m in this for the long haul (think 12 to 15 years of loyalty and companionship). My former family had to make the tough decision to surrender me to Animatch after starting a home daycare; they felt it wasn’t the right environment for me anymore.

To be honest, my early days here were tough. I was overwhelmed, nervous around new people, and sometimes reacted when approached too quickly. But I’ve made amazing progress! That said, I still appreciate having my personal space and would do best with an experienced family—someone who understands that slow and steady wins the race. Once I trust you, I’m a friend for life. I’ve got a gentle soul, a unique personality, and a heart full of love just waiting to shine in the right home.

Just because I’m shy doesn’t mean I’m not active! I’m a young Standard Poodle, so daily walks, playtime, and regular exercise are a must. Once I’ve had a chance to settle in, training classes would be a great way to build my confidence and help me navigate the big world out there. Plus, I love learning and connecting with people—it just takes me a little time.

I get along well with other dogs, and having a calm, confident canine buddy might help me feel more secure. But honestly, once I bond with my human, I’ll be all in. What I want most is to feel cherished again, to know I’m home for good.
