My name is Tulipe and everything about me is short. Short easy-care coat, you will love it – no primping before we go for our walk. Short legs – not to worry I can keep up with you any day. Short ears – sadly, that is something that should have never been done to me. But I will hear you say “good girl” from a mile away. Short and sweet – that’s me!

I am a four-year-old American Bully whose human fell onto hard times and had to surrender me. I’ve been at Animatch and have made friends with all the Volunteers. I am a social butterfly who gets along with dogs with a proper introduction.

Despite being short, I am very strong and I am a pro at dragging you for a walk. We must work on that; some training would be in order. After a good walk, I love nothing more than to snuggle up under a nice plushy blanket. Since Animatch did not get many details on my previous life, an adult family or one with respectful kids who know how to treat a dog would be best.

Before going any further, take away the label of my breed and decide what you are looking for. Active, athletic, social, couch potato? Makes more sense, doesn’t it. Rather than getting your heart set on a “breed”, ask what qualities or traits you are looking for? How I am labeled or how further I look on the outside, is not an indication of my past or future behavior. The commitment, time, and exercise provided by my new family will have more of an impact on my behaviour.
