Before filling in an Application Form, please understand the requirements considered necessary to adopt Dolly.
At just 7.5 lbs, a family or with respectful children over 8 would best suit her. She is great with kids but her size means that she is not meant for a family with young kids. If you are planning to start a family in the near future, Dolly is not your dog.
Dolly loves the sound of her own voice and rest assured she will alert you to any trespassers. If you live in an apartment/condo, Dolly is not your dog.
Dolly is in need of a family that will be around for the next 15 to 18 years (Poodles, especially small ones, are blessed with longevity). If you are getting ready to sell the house and move to a condo or there is a possibility that you won’t be mobile or able to care for her for her entire life because of age-related issues – then Dolly is not your dog.
Dolly needs to use her legs – every day, rain or shine. She does not need to be carried or be walked around in a stroller – not at this point in his life. If you are looking for arm candy, Dolly is not your dog.
At one year old and with the recent changes in her life, Dolly may need a refresher in toilet training. All potential adopters must be willing to do some level of toilet training. If you aren’t, then Dolly is not your dog.
Dolly spent her first year in Chisisabi with a family but has gone through many changes in recent weeks. It is important that she has someone around during the day. If you are gone from your home all day, then Dolly is not your dog.
Dolly is a cuddly, affectionate, ball of fur who is ready to take the next step to her happily ever after. If you meet the requirements, then by all means fill in the Application Form. Dolly could very well be the right dog for you!
