For Blu, losing the only family she had ever known was gut-wrenching. Everything that was familiar to her was rather frightening. New faces, different place to sleep, strange dogs -- all made her uneasy. Her family was going through some difficult times and was impossible for her to stay.

Blu is slowly settling in but no doubt, her very own home will make her adjustment so much easier. At 7 years old, we feel that an adult family or one with older children who have been around dogs would best suit her. She can share her space with another mature dog.

Like many Cockers, Blu is prone to ear infections and she is presently being treated. Of course, Cockers do need some brushing to avoid becoming a matted mess. This is not something that needs to be done on arrival. Blu does not like to be rushed, slow and easy is how she likes things done.

Her favorite time of the day is when it is her turn for a walk! If you are looking for a faithful friend to discover the neighbourhood, you have found a partner in Blu. Apparently, she is always up for a game of fetch, so add a few tennis balls to the toy bin.
