My name is Tamale and I am a little cutie who would love to be your best Chihuahua buddy. Get ready to fall in love. I was surrendered with a few other Chis because my family simply had too many dogs. A little one-on-one attention, patience, socialization, and time is all that I need to help me be the dog of your dreams.

At just 5 lbs., I would like to join a home with adults or older children. If you have another dog, a smaller one would perhaps be less intimidating for me. I don’t foresee having a problem with cats – peculiar creatures, I must say.

My ideal day would include a few walks around the neighbourhood to do some sniffing, meeting new people to learn how to interact with them, going for a car ride, cuddling up under a blanket while we watch tv. Since I am still a puppy, I’m hoping for a family who is around a good part of the day. I will be happiest if I am with my people; because I have spent more time with dogs than I have with people, we have some catching up to do. Once I know and can tell a person wants to be my friend, I will crawl right into their lap and be their best pal!

Soon, I should learn some leash skills so that we can enjoy our walks together – you need not carry me, I do need exercise. You can expect to do some work with toilet training; it wasn’t important before now. Teach me anything and I will learn.
