Anyone at Animatch who has spent time with me knows I’m whip-smart, full of energy, and always ready for a good cuddle session. I’m Ivy, a proud Doberman girl looking for a family that truly understands my breed and everything that comes with it. My previous family underestimated my need for training and exercise—bummer, but at least they made sure I ended up in a safe place.

Companionship is everything to me, and I hope to find a human who feels the same. I need a family that’s ready for the commitment of raising an adolescent dog—one that’s prepared to continue my training so I can be well-mannered, well-socialized, and comfortable in all sorts of situations. I’m eager to learn and even more eager to please.

My energy level makes me a perfect match for an active person or family. Jogging, hiking, adventures—I’m up for it all! I get along well with other dogs, and sturdy children who can handle my enthusiastic personality would be fine too. Since I thrive on companionship, I’d love a home where I’m not left alone all day; if that’s not possible, a dog walker would be a must.
