My name is Oregano and I am one of 7 spices born on August 12th. Very soon, the spices are going to be ready to go to their new homes.

And, do you want to hear some good news. Our Mom, Attook who is known as Marjoram or Marj (to keep with the spice theme) will be going back to her home in Kuujjuarapik. The gang at Animatch are overjoyed that she will be able to go back to her life as a Northern girl. For Northern Dogs who have homes and aren’t continuously having puppies, it is a life that they love. A dream comes true!

In order to adopt any of us, you must be able to meet our needs. If you are not home during the day, I am not the dog for you. Although I do need to learn the skill of being alone, 8-9 hours is not fair to a puppy. I’m a clean slate, so I’m looking for someone committed to teaching me all I need to learn. I’m smart and eager, and I show a lot of promise, so training should be great fun! You can mold me into the perfect companion!

I get along with other dogs and if a cat doesn’t mind being chased now and then I can learn to behave. Sturdy kids who understand that I am going to be teething for a few more months would be fun. Of course, an active, outdoorsy family would suit me best. I will be experiencing my first winter in a short time and everyone says I will love the snow.
