My name is Lucas. My three littermates and I arrived from Whapmagoostui when we were just days old. We were orphaned puppies and needed immediate help. Animatch called on a Foster Mom with experience in caring for motherless new-borns.

Special thanks to our Foster Mom, Animatch and of course those special people in Whapmagoostui who simply never give up and persist in their goal of making a difference one dog at a time.

Some of our Foster Mom’s duties were – feeding, cleaning, ensuring we were warm, elimination (yup), and social stimulation. Does that sound like a full-time job? Well, it is and our awesome Foster Mom did her utmost to ensure that we all survived.

While she took care of us, she told us what being part of a family would be like and ever since then we dream of that day. She says that having our very own human or humans to love and care for us will be amazing. Our Foster Mom agrees that our time has come to start our next chapter

Being a Northern boy means I will absolutely adore open air activities and would best suit an energetic, outdoorsy family. I would not be happy spending the day on my own; I still have so much to learn. Rumour has it that I am quite the smarty-pants; I really aim to please. I know that I would be an A-Student in training so let’s make that happen. With your guidance and commitment, I am confident that I can be the dog of your dreams. Won’t you feel cool having a “Northern Star” at the end of the leash.
