NEWS FLASH - OCT 17:
Bits here and I have been at the Animatch Centre since July 16th. I am not doing well … not gonna sugar coat it. I really am not a happy camper. I desperately need a home; I have been languishing far too long and it is affecting me. I cry (bark and howl) a LOT and much as everyone tries so hard to help by taking me for walks and giving me belly rubs, I am just so sad. This is not the life that I dreamed of. Part of the reason it is taking longer to find me a family is that I would do better in a home without other dogs. It’s not that I dislike them; I am just over the top when I meet them and some times, they just don’t get me.
So, please, please, please, for the love of dog, consider adopting me. If you can’t then send my photos and bio to someone you know. I need your help.
Is your dream dog part of the Molosser group? Love those squashed faces, droopy eyes, floppy ears.
Meet Bits, a Boxer-x who was an unclaimed stray; Animatch likes to call them unclaimed treasures. This Boxer girl who is about two is a charmer. Animatch hopes that her stay is short and a boxer lover comes forth and adopts this treasure.
Bits could use some training – what dog can’t. She is strong and stubborn and will pull and drag you on walks. The good part is that she so wants to please. Positive reinforcement training would be the fix.
In general, Bits gets along with other dogs but she needs a proper introduction. If you prefer being a one-dog family, she would love to be the centre of your world. Humans are her favorite creatures.
If you feel that you can offer this dream girl her forever home, please fill in an application form. Bits has experienced homelessness and wants to put it all behind her.
