About Rebel

Rebel arrived at Animatch as a typical, rowdy, adolescent who would just need a home that was willing to love him, give him the exercise required, and train him to become the dog he was meant to be. We soon discovered that this boy needed much more before he was adoptable.

*FIC, as many of you are aware, is always up for the challenge and Rebel has made tremendous progress during his time at the school Virginie Forest and her crew of students have worked with him tirelessly and feel that he is now ready to take the next step … into his forever home.

First and foremost, he is a dog for an experienced guardian. A human who will continue to reinforce what he has already learned. When a dog walks out of FIC, it does not mean that the training is over and now is time for fun. He needs fun (exercise) each and every day but all that he has learned must be reinforced each and every day.

Rebel gets along well with dogs in his playgroup but because of some resource guarding issues, he should be the only dog in the home. Insofar as cats are concerned, let’s not go there (he is a Northern boy).

Rebel is raring to go and is anxious to show his new family all that he has learned. Would it be yours? Please fill in an application form if you feel that you are the perfect match.
